The 7th hole presents a semi-blind shot and reminds one of the 14th hole at Shinnecock Hills. An ideal shot will hug the right tree line and come to rest at the bottom of the fairway sloping down and to the right. But this requires both accuracy and distance off the tee. If you're too far left, you'll block yourself out from an approach and then bring a fairway bunker into play that is strategically located 85 yards from the center of the green.
Your second shot is into a small green with two greenside bunkers on the right. Immediately behind the green is the slope leading to the 8th tee. If you're going to run it up, the left side is your best option.
