As you walk to the 5th tee from the 4th green, you'll pass the 13th green and should take note of the pin placement on this tricky green. The 5th hole certainly deserves its spot as the top ranked handicap hole for men. One of the longest Par 4's from both the White and Blue tees, you'll need a long, straight drive to leave yourself a level stance for your approach. An uphill slope awaits your tee shot shorter than 220 yards. Pine trees and a fence are on the right while the left side is more playable.
Depending upon pin placement, your approach strategy should vary. Most shots hit up the right side will curl up and feed nicely onto the green. A large trap at left shouldn't present a problem, nor should a fairway bunker located on the right side about 100 yards out. A "Snack Bar" is located just off this green, serving golfers on their way out, as well as those crossing over to the 12th tee.
