One of five elevated tee positions on the course, the 1st hole provides, without a doubt, one of the best views for both golfers and club spectators.  Flanked by two putting greens, the Pro Shop, and outdoor patio - members have a great vantage point from which they can critique a steady stream of tee shots.

Place your tee shot left of center to avoid a slope on the right side that can leave an awkward lie for your approach.  Even if your ball lands in the left rough, the ball may feed back into the fairway or at least will provide a clear shot to the green.  A small brook is located 75 yards from the center of the green (340+ yards from the tee) and may impact your club selection for your 2nd shot - especially if you didn't hit your best tee shot.  The green is elevated and protected by bunkers on both sides.
